We frequently come across examples of calves which look very well but are disappointing when it comes to weight. It can also happen that a calf looks rather ordinary but in fact is doing very well. We can measure your calves and advise you on your raising technique. If you would like to try it for yourself first, have a go using the following table.

How it works:
1. Input the age of the calf.
2. Measure the circumference of the calf's chest.
3. When do you wish the animal to calve?


The table shows the number of kilos by which your calf is over or above the standard weight.
