Warts (Papillomatosis) are a contagious viral disease, especially in young animals, which is associated with typical outgrowths of skin or mucous membranes.Most warts occur on the head, shoulder and neck. In the early stages, they are small, slowly developed nodules. These can quickly develop into a wart that looks like a cauliflower-like form. The surface of the grown wart is dry, grey, often with deep fissures. The size of warts can vary from less than 1 cm to a diameter of 15 cm.
Most of the time, the warts disappear within a year.
